Music And Dance
The meaning of music or dance is not dependent on language. Our first response to music is through the movement of the body. By communicating freely with the voice, face and body children learn to express ideas with confidence, empathies with others from different cultures and backgrounds and feel at home in their own song, music and dance can help children become more imaginative, self aware and collaborative global citizens. According to the early childhood Music and Movement Association, 85 percent of brain development occurs by the time a child reaches 3 years. As children grow, they need to learn specific activities that are important for development.
Dance and Music has been introduced in the school as a part of curriculum in all the classes. The school providers all the musical instruments like Dholak, Tabla, Harmonium, Keyboard, Guitar and Mouth organ & Drum to the children to learn various rhythms and alankars.
