Brief History of School

General

(a) The school was established in Jun 1975 at Talbehat as St Xavier’s School by the Catholics of Jhansi. In 1980 the school was taken over by Army authorities and was renamed as Army KG School.

(b) In 1988 the school was awarded temporary affiliation by UP State Education Board to conduct classes upto Class V and it was renamed as Army School. In 2001,the school was registered under Societies Act and got permanent affiliation to UP State Education Board.

(c) In June 2011, the school’s name was again changed from Army School to Lake View Primary School. On 01 Jul 2015, the School was adopted by Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) to impart quality education to the children of Army personnel and was renamed as Army Public School, Talbehat. The school has got sanction of AWES upto Middle School. Presently, the School is functioning upto Class VIII.

(d) In Jul 2025, the school has got the sanction upto class X, under CBSE affiliation with relentless efforts of the adm unit 90 Fd Regt/373 Arty Bde & School authorities.
