Art & Craft
Art is a delightful way through which one can record the development of child’s growth. Just as writing and reading improves with age, so does art work.
Everyone has imagination. Art takes it a step further. Through art, children create something that, until that point was only imagined. Thus, they create visual manifestations of abstract idea. Children who may be having difficulties in other parts of the School curriculum may find an expensive outlet through art. It is a way to recover talent that may not be seen otherwise. Art is a means of communicating ideas, feelings and solutions in a way other than verbally or written.
Art and crafts develop thinking skills, feeling skills, relating skills, coordinating skills and overall personality of a child. Participating in art and craft activities activates both sides of the brain, both the linear left hemisphere and the creative, non sequential right hemisphere.
Both type of activities are excellent for helping children to reach their full potential. Here are list of few art and craft activities carried out in the School-
